Alhamdulilah, we are pleased to announce that by the will of Allah, we will have our first Friday prayer in the new center this Friday, April 23rd, 1255 Columbia Rd, Westlake.
There will only be two Friday prayers:
1st 1:30 – 2:00 PM (Arabic)
2nd 2:30 – 3:00 PM (English)
Both prayers will be led by Sheikh Amin.
Because of limited parking space (renovation of parking lots still underway and some areas will be restricted), we are strongly encouraging our community to carpool.
We will have Westlake police department and volunteer traffic controllers present on-site to help direct traffic. Please follow their instructions for the parking process to facilitate entering and exiting the facility in an organized manner to avoid accidents.
Please do not park in the parking lots of other businesses and follow the rules set forth for the safety of all and to set a positive image for the Muslim community. Police will ticket parking violations and cars may be towed.
We are in need of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Even though we are moving to a larger facility, Alhamdulillah, we are still operating with reduced capacity during prayers and following CDC guidelines for pandemic precautions:
*Only 12 and older may attend prayers
*If you are not feeling well in any way or recently recovered from COVID-19, stay at home
*Wudu at home, bathrooms will be closed
*Bring your own personal prayer rug
*3 feet physical distance
*Face masks covering mouth and nose while inside the facility at all times
*Once appropriate capacity is reached, a sign indicating that the masjid is full will be placed at entrances, please RESPECT the sign and do not enter
An additional entrance is available on the south side of the building for women if needed.
All shoes must be taken off once you enter the building. Volunteers and signs will be placed to guide everyone to racks to place their shoes.
We need volunteers to help move on Saturday, April 24th at 12:00 PM.
